People to benefit under load management plan: Pepco

GEO 436 LAHORE: Managing Director of Pakistan Electricity Power Company (PEPC), Tahir Basharat Cheema, said Sunday that energy conservation plan would be strictly implemented and its benefits would get to the people. This he claimed while speaking to the chief executives of power distribution companies at the Wapda House. Cheema said another 271MW have added to the system. "2010 is the year to end power theft," he said. Strict measures will be taken to stop power theft, he said. He directed the power distribution companies to keep in view the needs of industrial, agricultural and domestic consumers so that power crisis would be overcome.
