Wikileaks LONDON: US officials think about how to maximise their influence in Pakistan on foot of a doubling of US assistance from $2 billion to $4 billion annually, said a cable leaked by WikiLeaks on UK based Guardian newspaper.

But the relationship is fraught with distrust, the officials added. They aim to foster 'regional approach' to conflict and to change the mindsets of Pakistani leaders.
