Mfarhanonline Social Media News: Several Mfarhanonline staffers at our New York City headquarters felt tremors from the 5.9 magnitude earthquake Tuesday, but only after we saw tweets begin to roll in from Washington, D.C. Our counterparts in San Francisco, however, really couldn’t understand what the fuss was about. As San Francisco Bureau Chief Chris Taylor put it on Twitter : Damage from the earthquake was minimal, and no injuries have been reported. While earthquakes are frightening, especially for those of us who aren’t used to them, many people used Twitter to deal with that fear — or lack thereof — with laughter.
