DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The local authorities have established fake relief camps prior to the visit of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in Dera Ismail Khan.
According to sources, local authorities set up fake relief camps for flood victims on the road opposite Dera Ismail Khan airport.
The affected people of flood-hit areas have accommodated themselves in these camps.
“We are affected by the flood and have lost our homes. Consequently, we have settled here. We are forced to live in these camps, whereas we have not been provided with any relief facilities,” said an affectee.
However, it is not the first time such a camp has been set by local authorities. Earlier, a fake relief camp was showcased in Mianwali, consisting of empty tents during the Prime Minister's visit to Balochistan
