KOHISTAN: Five children died due to hunger and malnutrition in flood-stricken Kohistan region as relief efforts remained suspended for the third consecutive day due to bad weather conditions. According to reports, five children perished in Kundian valley of Kohistan District after failing to consume anything due to a prevailing food shortage. Owing to complete blockage of roads, Kohistan remained cut off from the rest of country. As a result, relief goods could not reach the flood-affected areas.
