Mfarhanonline:SC denies rejecting presidential reference

Mfarhanonline News ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court office Saturday clarified the position of Supreme Court over the reports of rejecting Presidential Reference, saying the SC Registrar on the directive of Chief Justice had written a confidential letter to Secretary Law in connection with Presidential Refernce pertaining to the PCO judges, mfarhanonline News reported on Saturday.

According to the clarification statement issued from SC, the letter was confidential and it was pertaining to the apex court verdict issued on May 18, 2011 over Presidential reference on PCO judges, was delivered in a sealed envelop to Law Secretary office.

In the letter, Law Secretary was requested to bring to the notice of the authorities concerned about it.
