According to sources, Habib Jalib was getting out of his house when he was fired by some unidentified gunmen on motorbike and died instantly. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta where doctors pronounced him dead. As soon as this news spread, a huge number of BNP (Mengal) representatives reached the hospital. Habib Jalib was also the central secretary of BNP (Mengal). Police and FC cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation.
