Mfarhanonline:Renowned artist Jameel Fakhri passes away

Mfarhanonline Entertainment News LAHORE: Renowned film, TV and stage artist Jameel Fakhri died here on Thursday after protracted illness, he was 65.

The leading artist was in a state of shock since his eldest son was shot dead in the USA a few months ago. The artist had in his credit a large number of TV plays, stage appearances and also in some movies.

But, he could be remembered for his extra-ordinary performance in of the most popular TV series ”Andhera Ujala” where he appeared as Jaffer Hussain.

Jamee Fakhri who was banker by profession, started his artistic career from a TV drama ”Thanda Bokhar”.

The late had survived a widow and three sons as bereaved family.

His funeral prayers will be offered at his Ravi road residence on Friday morning.
