GEO 436 ISLAMABAD: The families of missing persons have complained that on one hand a commission has been formed for the recovery of the missing persons while on the other hand the authorities have failed to stop kidnappings that continue to take place. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Chairperson Defence of Human Rights Amina Masood Janjua said complaints of more than 50 persons going missing in April 2010 have been received. She announced that a hunger strike camp will be set up in Rawalpindi on May 27. A citizen named Ashraf Rana said his son has been picked up despite having no links with Faisal Shahaza, who was arrested in US for carrying out a botched bid to bomb Times Square. He said his son had never been involved in any subversive activities and demanded that he be presented in a court. A man named Muhammed Ashraf on the occasion said his nephew, friend of Salman Ashraf and his business partner, has also gone missing.
