GEO 436 QUETTA: Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry, voicing grave concern over rise in number of news regarding kidnap of people, has termed the incidents as dilemma of our society. Iftikhar Chaudhry said, "None is above law and judiciary is making free decisions." "Rule of law poses no threat to democratic system in any country, instead it strengthens democracy by all means", he said. He predicated dispense of justice in Nawab Akber Bugti case, adding that no adventurism will be allowed in country from now and onwards. CJ Chaudhry was addressing a reception hosted by Balochistan High Court Bar Association (BHCBA). "There will be establishment of law across country", he maintained. "It is indispensable upon lawyers to gather concrete evidences with regard to missing people and put forth those before courts." Now, the nation will see courts pronouncing verdicts not on technical grounds but on pure merits, he predicted. He thanked parliament on not endorsing November 3 actions as 'legal' and 'legitimate'.
