وزیر اعظم یوسف رضا گیلانی نے ایم کیو ایم کے قائد الطاف حسین کو ٹیلیفون کرکے ڈاکٹر عمران فاروق کے قتل پر افسوس کا اظہار کیا ہے۔ الطاف حسین سے ٹیلیفونگ گفتگو میں وزیر اعظم کا کہنا تھا کہ ڈاکٹر عمران فاروق کا قتل ایم کیو ایم کیلئے بہت بڑا المیہ ہے۔ جس نے بھی ڈاکٹر فاروق کا قتل کیا اس نے بہت بڑا ظلم کیا ہے۔ وزیراعظم کا کہنا تھا کہ تمام پاکستانیوں کو اس سانحہ پر بڑا افسوس ہے۔ اس موقع پر ایم کیو ایم کے قائد الطاف حسین نے کہا کہ ڈاکٹر عمران فاروق کا قتل ملک کیلئے بہت بڑا نقصان ہے۔
