Hospital holds body for nonpayment of dues

GEO 436 KARACHI: A policeman wounded in a firing incident in Karachi succumbed to injuries in a hospital but hospital management has refused to release the body to relatives till the payment of the bill. The body has been handed over to the relatives when the news has been aired at Geo News. Two policemen Wahid Bux and Salim Zaki sustained injuries in a firing incident two days ago and admitted in a private hospital at Stadium Road. Wahid Bux has succumbed to injuries last night but the hospital management holds the body for six hours due to non-payment of the bill. The body has been released to relatives after airing the news on Geo News. The brother of Wahid Bux told Geo News that his brother's will be buried in ancestral village in Taunsa Sharif.
