GEO 436 ISLAMABAD: Government counsel Wasim Sajjad has said that the Parliament enjoys full authority to make Constitutional amendments. He was talking to media outside the Supreme Court in connection with the hearing of petitions against the 18th amendment in the Supreme Court. Wasim Sajjad said none of the constitutional amendments made till today in Pakistan was annulled by the Supreme Court by declaring it against the basic structure of the Constitution. "Even the basic structure of the Parliament is to be determined by the Parliament," he added.
