PML-N criticises increase in salaries

GEO 436 ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly, Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan criticised the increase in salary of government employees by 50 percent saying the decision has been taken without taking everyone onboard. We were informed that 25 percent increases would be given. He took the government to task over government’’s attitude towards the Supreme Court and said we could not support the government. Opening the debate on Budget 2010-2011 the opposition leader said that now the government should foot the increase because the provinces did not have extra Rs 40 billion. Loss making state enterprises such as PIA, Railways and Pakistan Steel Mills be privatised to save billions of national wealth.
