Relief camps established in Sindh

KARACHI: Several relief camps have been established in different cities of Sindh where flood victims who came from affected areas are being provided with accommodation, said sources on Monday.

The Sindh government has set up camps by installing almost 600 tents in different cities where flood IDPs will be provided with food, water, medication and other relief goods.

These camps have been established in Shikarpur, Khairpur, Hyderabad, Karachi and other cities.

Millions of flood victims are living like nomads, waiting the aid on roadsides.

On the other hand, evacuation of flood IDPs from affected areas is still underway.

At least six camps have been set up in Karachi where victims of Jacobabad and Kashmore have been accommodated.

Separately, the registration of flood affectees is also being carried out.

Relief camps are established in Razzaqabad, Bin Qasim, Gadap Town, Mehmoodabad, Lyari and Hawkesbay areas of Karachi
