Over the weekend, the moon was not just full, it also got the closest to Earth than it’ll get all year. The result was what some are calling a “supermoon,” a yearly phenomenon that draws out night sky watchers and photographers. The moon appeared 14% bigger and 30% brighter than an average full moon. We asked Mfarhanonline readers to submit their best picture of the supermoon astronomical event. We received more than 50 great photo submissions from countries around the world, including Serbia, South Africa, India and New Zealand.
