135 people including 124 soldiers and 11 civilians defending the homeland at Gayari sector in Siachen were buried alive under the avalanche in the early hours on April 7.
The excavation work continues at Gayari sector amid harsh weather conditions at seven points in Siachen.
A 40-feet wide path is being made to reach the residential area of headquarter. More than 400 armymen are working at the site in Siachen at the moment.
