Geo 436 WASHINGTON: An international conference will take place in Kabul on July 20 to demonstrate support for Afghanistan’’s government, US envoy Richard Holbrooke said Monday. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other senior foreign officials will take part in the event, which follows up the London conference on Afghanistan in July, Holbrooke told reporters. The conference will be an “affirmation of international support for the government,” said Holbrooke, the US special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan.
