Geo 436 KARACHI: In the kerb market key crop varieties were traded at the price of 6,100 rupee per maund after an increase of Rs 100 reaching historic heights. The price increase was due to low cotton stock and ban on export of the commodity by India, Cotton Broker Forum Chairman Naseem Usman told Geo News. Per maund price in local market has increased by Rs 2800 since August 2009.
