Geo 436 ISLAMABAD: A man died of burn injuries as a result of fire that erupted here at Aabpara police station on Wednesday, Geo News reported. Police officials have formed a committee investigate into the incident. According to police, a welder was working at ground flour of the police station where sparks from his welding gun fell on wooden sticks lying nearby, causing the fire which spread to four rooms. A man identified as Rasheed sustained burn injuries and shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. Fire fighters managed to control the flames after a struggle that continued for a quarter less than two hours. The store room of the police station was partially damaged while the record room and arms storage room remained safe.
