A four-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will hear the case regarding by-elections under the incomplete Election Commission. The court will also decide about the fate of 23 parliamentarians who were elected under the incomplete Election Commission. Earlier, the court had granted time till Feb 6 to get parliamentary ratification of the elections but the government failed to meet the deadline. On the other hand, session of the National Assembly will hold on 5pm, in which the government will struggle to pass the 20th amendment.
