A seven-member bench of Supreme Court, headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, is hearing of the case. Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, the counsel for Prime Minister Gilani in the case, will continue to present arguments in the contempt hearing. Earlier, Aitzaz had raised objection over the bench hearing the case. Aitzaz Ahsan claimed that the bench is not competent to hear the case as it was comprised of the judges who issued show cause notice to the prime minister.
