Breaking News Alert A Fort Bliss spokesman says there has been a “weapon discharge” on the West Texas Army post but he has no other details.
Fort Bliss spokesman Dieter Jester said he had no other information about Monday’s incident. Kfoxtv.com was reporting that the shooting occurred at a convenience store called Shopette, located on Cassidy Road. There was no immediate word on injuries or deaths.
Officials were set to hold a news conference at Cassidy Gate. No further information was immediately available.
