Geo436 HUDERABAD: The district administration has imposed a ban on use of water from Ural Wah canal for drinking purposes after polluted water from Manchar Lake mixed with it, Geo News reported Monday. DCO Jamshoro Samiuddin Siddique told Geo News that water supply to Sehwan and nearby areas from the canal has been suspended, adding that water tanker service has been started to provide free and clean drinking water. No deadline is set for the ban and only after the laboratory tests the ban would be lifted.
