According to sources, in the international market prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) have been recorded at Rs 78,500 per ton with a surge of Rs 4,850 for the month of May. Therefore, an increase of Rs 5 per kilogram has been decided in the price of the commodity in local market. After the fresh hike, the prices of domestic and commercial cylinder will go up by Rs 57 and Rs 220 respectively. The sources further said that the OGRA will issue the notification on May 3.
