Talking to media on the occasion of Golf Championship in Lahore, Foreign Minister Hinna Rabbani Khar expressed Pakistan s deep concern over the reports of attacks in Kabul‚ including on Afghan Parliament and other buildings. She said Pakistan strongly condemns terrorism in all forms and has consistently encouraged dialogue to resolve issues in Afghanistan. She said that she has talked to Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Muhammad Sadiq who briefed her that Pakistan’s women parliamentarian delegation headed by Shahnaz Wazir Ali is safe as they were shifted in a secure building. The foreign minister also said that Pakistan stands in solidarity with all Afghan brothers and sisters suffering the continuous violence and instability in the country. Responding to a query, she said that new avenues of diplomatic understanding will open with the Bangladesh cricket team visit to Pakistan and urged that the cricket diplomacy should further be promoted. Referring to Pak-India talks‚ the foreign minister said Pakistan wants to resolve all issues through dialogue. She termed the Siachen Gayari sector incident as a national loss and said the whole nation stands by the Pakistan Army to express solidarity with the soldiers trapped under an avalanche. She said that Pakistan and India were close to an agreement when Banazir Bhutto and Rajiv Gandhi were in power. India has given positive signals of resolving the issues through dialogue, Hina added.
