Geo 436 ISLAMABAD: A two-day conference to chalk out a strategy to overcome power shortages in the country is underway here. The conference will review various proposals to meet the power crisis on war footings. According to sources, the proposals of two weekly off days and shut down of the commercial centres at 7:00 pm likely to be discussed in the meeting. The conference will also consider over proposals to provide relief to domestic power consumers along with uninterrupted power supply to the industries. Chief ministers of all four provinces, Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and technical experts are taking part in the conference.
