Mfarhanonline Tech News We are expecting Apple to launch the iPad 2 and iPhone 5 this year, however as with most Apple releases, details are being kept extremely quiet, that said a recent post on ChinaTimes.com may well have leaked details regarding production of both devices, if these details are accurate it gives us some insight regarding an iPad 2 and iPhone 5 release date. According to ChinaTimes production of the iPad 2 will begin in February 2011, previously an April 2011 release date for the iPad 2 has been suggested, which means that Apple’s hardware manufacturers will have a maximum of two months to build up stock levels to cope with the huge demand there will undoubtedly be upon release. As for the iPhone 5 we are led to believe that production will start in May, this fits in with the late June / early July release date period we are used to seeing with previous iPhone versions, again this puts a lot of pressure on manufacturers to build up stock levels in a relatively short amount of time to cope with the demand. Apple famously snub any companies whole leak details about upcoming Apple devices, therefore the original source of this information is not clear, AppleInsider sourced the information from ChinaTimes , and ChinaTimes don’t really say where they get their information from, therefore if this information is accurate I would imagine that the tipster want to remain anonymous. Do you think the demand for the iPhone 5 and iPad 2 will be as big as it was for their predecessors last year? More On: apple , iPad 2 , iPhone 5 Become a Fan on Facebook
