Mfarhanonline News KARACHI: At least 6 accused allegedly associated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were arrested here on Saturday by the CID police.
According to a senior CID official the arrests were made from Baldia and Manghopir.
The CID police identified the accused as Syed Ali Shah, Mumtaz Ahmed Mehsud, Haji Saeed Mehsud, Abdul Khalid Tookhi, Gul Zaman Afghani and Mohammed Saleem Afghani.
The police claimed to have recovered 6 TT pistols and large quantity of ammunition from their possession.
Accused were allegedly involved in various terrorist activities, kidnapping for ransom and armed robberies in various parts of the city, the CID police added.
Further investigations were underway.
