Mfarhanonline Sports News LONDON: The former wicketkeeper Pakistan cricket team, Zulqarnain Haider, has deferred his plans to get back to Pakistan after, according to him; he received fresh life threats, Mfarhanonline News reported Thursday.
Meanwhile, Zulqarnain has had his return-ticket cancelled too, sources told Mfarhanonline News.
According to Jang Group's correspondent based in London, expressing disagreement over the unsatisfactory security situation in Pakistan, former wicketkeeper said that he would no longer stand secured in Pakistan if he returns now as he has received fresh life threats.
He said he has shelved, for the time being, his intentions to get back to Pakistan.
It is worth mentioning here that Zulqarnain has re-filed application with British Home Office to seek asylum in UK and held meetings with London police, Scotland Yard.
