Mfarhanonline:US senator Kerry meets Army Chief

Mfarhanonline News ISLAMABAD: The visiting US senator John Kerry Sunday held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, mfarhanonline News reported.

According to sources, the meeting focused on Pak-US relations in the wake of Abbottabad operation that eliminated Osama bin Laden. Cooperation on war on terror also came under discussion.

The US senator during his stay in Pakistan will be meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and other political leadership of the country, the US Embassy said.
