Talking to the media in Islamabad, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that police and administration have been directed to ensure security, of Muharram level, on the eve of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). However, no defunct organization would be allowed to take out procession on this occasion, Malik said. He informed that a case has been registered against two activists of defunct organizations while SHO Margala was suspended and an inquiry have initiated against a high ranked police opfficer. To a question, Malki said that a notification has already been issued and there is no need of a new notification in this regard.
