New Pakistani envoy in United States Sherry Rehman will reach Washington today. The staff of Pakistan Embassy will receive her. She will assume her office on January 9 and will call on President Barack Obama on January 17 or 18 to present her diplomatic papers to him. Former Pakistan Ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani has vacated government residence and his wife and children have shifted to private residence.
